VideoSharing Websites

Hundreds videos are uploaded online daily and YouTube is one of the famous website for video sharing. You can see millions of channels in YouTube and videos. I too have a channel but I recently found some other video sharing website also. People might be unaware about some of these website. 

YouTube.com [Channel]

Since 2010 I have an account in YouTube but I didn’t know how to use it to make some money. Recently I did some research and understood how to use YouTube to make money and started uploading on September 2014. As a beginner it is very difficult to get views and subscribers. But I keep on uploading videos in YouTube but everything happening in YouTube was minimal for me.  

Recently I came to know about a network called Freedom (LuerMedia) through my twitter account. I decided to join the network but it was a good decision. My YouTube subscribers increased to 17 form 5 and views are increasing gradually. I hope I will be able to make enough number of subscribers and views with the help of Freedom network. I guess Freedom is a good network to join if you are YouTuber or planning to upload videos in YouTube

DailyMotion.com [Channel]

I wanted to promote my videos in another video sharing sites also along with YouTube. So I started my researches and came to know about DailyMotion.Com. This website is similar like YouTube, users can create their own channels and followers and upload videos for monetisation. One major difference is that the videos will be monetised automatically where as in YouTube users should give the instruction to monetise. 

In this website you can embed any video to your website or Blog and if anyone watched the video in your website, you will get money for watching the ads which are embedded along with the video. But I’m facing some problem with this website, I’m not able to upload videos. The status is showing 100% but after the video processing it will show videos error or file error. I have contacted some other user and they said they also facing the same issue. One user had informed me that this issue started since March 16th 2015, before that it was working perfectly. 

Break.com [Channel] 

Breal.com is a place for funny videos. Users can add videos from their computer or they can submit their YouTube video itself. They pay up to 600$ if your video get featured in the home page. They says they will 5$ for each 1000 views if your video gets 20,000 views.   

Puttukutti.com [Channel]

Puttukutti is not that famous website. I guess this website launched couple of years back in Kerala, India by four IT friends. In this website you can add any videos. You can upload it form your computer or submit the YouTube video URL which you want to upload. Like DailyMotion video, here the video will get monetised automatically. They will show instream ads in your videos and if someone watch your video along with the ads, you will get payed. INR100 (2$) is the minimum amount need a user to withdraw the reward. They will send it to your Home address or you can choose to send it directly to your bank account. 

I lost couple of bucks because of some server error. My page is not showing the money which I had earned so far. I had contacted them and they said they are having some server error and they are working on it to solve the issue 

Metacafe.com [Click]

I don’t have much information about this website. I joined website and tried to upload my videos but it says ‘couldn’t find upload page’. I tried many times but the same problem continuing.

Conclusion 

There are many more video sharing website some are very famous and some are in their developing stage. I have some video sharing websites which I use personally. There might be users who are using some other video sharing website and if you know any good website comment below. I personally advice your to do some homework before joining any of these site because it might work with me but it is not necessary that the same should happen to you also.

Found an AdSense Alternative

Last couple of weeks I had been searching for an AdSense alternative. Watched many videos in YouTube to find out which is the best alternative for AdSense. Did hell lot of researches about how some of the alternative websites works. But none of them were that attractive and users friendly. I had been signed up to affiliation programs but as of now no purchase is happened through my account. It might be because I’m using the Indian version of the website and most of my visitors are from foreign countries. May it is reducing the chance of purchasing the products through my affiliated links but I’m not sure about whether I’m right or wrong. 

I started to search for an alternative because my AdSense ads were not working in my Blog. I have got the approval long back from AdSense team and added some ads in my Blog account but it says not secure to show content in the site and more over my income through AdSense is minimal.

Better Find an Alternative {Click}

Recently I watched one video about Chitika.com and how does it works in YouTube. I did some researches on this website and most of the reviews were good. I badly needed an alternative so decided to join this site and filled my Sign Up form. 

The website is very users friends and it is very easy to create ads. Placing the ads in Blog is just as any other HTML code which we are using to place ads in Blog.

Payment Options

The website is providing two payment options to the users, PayPal and check. Users need to submit their contact details if they select check as their payment options and 50$ is the minimum amount needed to place and order. But if the user is selected PayPal as their payment options, 10$ is the minimum amount required to transfer the money. They will transfer on every month once the user’s account balance reached $10 or more. 

Referral Programme

Members can refer their friends to this site. Publishers or other members that a member refer to Chitika will be tracked through member’s unique username, and member will earn 10% of their revenue with Chitika for the first 10 months they are a publisher. Member can use different banners and codes available in the referral programme page. You can see one of the banner just below this line. 

Drawbacks

I have placed ads from this site all over my Blog along with the affiliation links. Only drawback which I noticed is almost all the ads looks similar. It is not giving a good impression in between the Blog post. 

In Conclusion 

So far the website is good to me and I guess it will help me to get some revenue. If someone is banned or fed up with AdSense then I guess this site is one of the best alternative. I placed ads in three of my Blog and waiting for better response and expecting to make some good money.
